How To Inhibit Occurrence Of Phimosis

By Walter Moore

Reproductive health should be a number one priority to any man in this world. Maintaining good reproductive health has become a major problem for most men due to the high rate of infections that are attacking the male reproductive system. Such infection includes phimosis that involves swelling and stiffness of the skin around the penis. It is a serious infection that one should take measures to prevent it. The following are some preventive measures against tight foreskin.

Being clean generally can bring positive results in the health of an individual. Cleaning the private parts should be taken seriously and should be done each and every day. After clean up, one should dry the place with a clean towel to keep the place dry and clean. This will discourage any bacteria that may cause an infection to settle around the place. Maintaining high standards of hygiene will act as a preventive measure.

Seeking the opinion of your doctor in case of any abnormality may also help a lot. People may shy away from asking other people questions regarding reproductive health but this should not be a shy away issue. Immediately one notices something unusual about the penis, one should seek advice from their doctor so that if it is a serious infection coming up, it may be prevented or treated immediately.

A tight foreskin is very common in young children. It can be prevented by stretching the foreskin regularly to prevent it from tightening. This should be done by parents to small boys who may not understand the necessity of performing such an act. Adult men should also do this may be when taking a bath. This will make it flexible and healthy.

Dryness of the skin in the private area may cause inflammation that can at long last develop into something serious. It may even cause splitting of the foreskin that may cause a lot of pain mostly during sex or urinating. A man can prevent such a situation by using lubricants while engaging in sexual intercourse. This ensures the skin is soft, making it have easy movement both back and forward movements on the penis.

Sexually transmitted infections should also be avoided or treated immediately after diagnosis. This is because sexually transmitted infections if not well managed may result in the development of tight foreskin. One can also use protection such as condoms to reduce the possibility of acquiring an infection that can be transmitted through sexual intercourse.

Treating minor infection every time helps to reduce the risk of developing this condition. Most skin diseases may develop to serious reproduction infection mostly if they develop around the genital area. By treating them immediately they appear, it reduces the risk of the infection developing to such a condition. The skin infection may include infection that results in dryness of the skin.

Another way of preventing tight foreskin is through circumcision. This is usually the removal of a foreskin, which is the main part that is affected by the infection. After going through circumcision, one may reduce the chances of contracting any other reproductive diseases such as sexually transmitted infections or urinal tract infection.
