Once you have mastered all the subjects that you are going to appear and have also appeared for the first level of civil services examination at least, then you can work or prepare for other exams too.

This is important because you will be needed to have in-depth knowledge about the subject and bring it out when needed accordingly to answer the questions; this is why you must have the passion for the subject. Once you have gained all the knowledge about the subject then getting marks shall become very easier for you.
Candidates that have professional or technical qualifications recognized by the government as equivalent as the degrees are eligible for the exams too. You must also ensure that you are mentally ready for the attempts to crack the civil service exams, it is tough to crack in the first round itself and even though you qualify you can look to achieve better ranking to improve your service allotment.
